I am a Licensed Clinical Therapist with over 35 years of experience in the mental health field.  I strive to help individuals just like you realize a healthier, happier, and successful existence through a holistic therapeutic process designed to foster a greater sense of self-awareness to better understand the connections between mind, body and soul.

Individual Therapy is a process that focuses on growth and change. Talking about your issues and understanding your feelings paves the way to becoming more aware of the source of your struggles and painful feelings. This awareness allows you to perceive and create options in your life you may not be aware of.  Therapy helps to guide you into a deeper sense of intimacy with others while living your own authentic life.  I assist you to create healthy boundaries and learn realistic habits that will help you care deeply for your mental, emotional and social needs.  I support you during bereavement and transition-related issues.  I guide you during development of awareness and insight on any troublesome situation, while eliminating anxiety and stress surrounding these challenges.  The goal is to help you gain a better vision and understanding of your life purpose and place you on a positive path; everything you need to be successful is already within you. Our strength-based approach will help identify and utilize your strengths to create a strong foundation for success.

Holistic psychotherapy uses traditional methods of psychotherapy along with non-traditional therapies of holistic healing to create a fuller integration between the mind, body, and spirit to accomplish the deepest level of healing possible.  Some benefits of holistic psychotherapy include healing from trauma, elimination of depression, decreased anxiety, healthier relationships, enhanced spirituality, speedy recovery from grief and loss, and the ability to clarify your life purpose.  You deserve happiness, success, and abundance in every area of your life. I take a step-by-step approach to getting you there.  To succeed in therapy, you must believe that it works and that you will be successful.  Overall, we often neglect our bodies and spirits as we go about our day to day lives. Because of this, some of us struggle to embrace our physical and spiritual sides. Sometimes we are taught to behave this way, and other times we neglect these parts of ourselves due to fear or trauma. Whatever the reason is, be ready to embrace this approach to healing and deeply connect with yourself.

Relationships evolve out of meaningful interactions with two or more people. There are many different types of relationships involving interchanges between two or more people, and any one of these relationships may require additional support at times.  The main goals of couples counseling are to identify the root cause of the problems, create streams of positive and effective communication, balance the stressors in your relationship, bring closure to old disputes, and to improve the overall condition of your relationship. Therapy will focus on specific issues and provide couples with the tools to communicate better, negotiate differences, problem-solve, and even argue in a much healthier way.  Most relationships aren’t perfect, but you can have a peaceful loving relationship with minimal conflict.  Healing relationships is about recognizing that the emotional and spiritual well-being of each partner is paramount, and that each partner must have a willingness and openness to change what is not currently serving them today.
