Therapist Bio

I am a Licensed Clinical Therapist with a Bachelor and Master's Degree in Social Work, Ph.D. in Spiritual Holistic Health and multiple specialty certifications.  I'm trained in Marriage & Family Therapy, trauma-informed therapy, mindfulness CBT, EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), Reiki therapy, guided meditation, and a host of holistic therapies. I am an intuit mind and body energy-healer, motivator, and gentle therapeutic guide.  Over the years I've helped clients cope with depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, grief, chronic pain, family and relationship issues, infidelity, life transitions, anger management, substance abuse, and domestic violence and more.  My approach is integrative, mindfulness-based, person-centered, trauma-informed, deeply empathetic, reflective in nature, and sometimes sprinkled with a little sense of humor. It is important for each person to feel incredibly valued, respected, supported, and understood during the therapeutic journey. My objective in therapy is to help clarify issues, gain insight into your thoughts and feelings, help you identify your strengths, and apply what works to get you moving in the right direction. This will help resolve any internal conflict you may have and establish real change and growth.  I believe in treating everyone with the highest level of dignity, respect, sensitivity, grace, and compassion.
